General Submission Requirements

  1. Timeline
    • Standard Content: Submit at least two business days before the desired broadcast time.
    • Emergency Content: Can be submitted at any time but will be subject to expedited approval.
  2. Contact Information
    • Provide the full name, department and email address of the person responsible for the content submitted.
    • Include an alternative contact person in case the primary contact is unavailable.

Content Guidelines

  1. Audience
    • Consider the audience of the airport. Content must be directly related to FSU activities, events or personnel, and be relevant to one of the following:
      • FSU Visitors: Information about special events, campus tours or guest speaker arrivals
      • FSU Teams: Details regarding team arrivals, departures and related events
      • FSU Faculty and Staff: Updates on conferences, seminars and official university business travel
      • FSU Students: Notifications about student group travel, study abroad departures or return dates
  2. Clarity and Conciseness
    • Keep the content brief and straightforward, ideally a short headline with two- to three-sentence explanations.
    • Avoid using jargon, acronyms or technical terms that might not be understood by the general public.
  3. Language
    • Submit content in English.
    • If necessary, provide translations in other languages commonly used at the airport (e.g., Spanish).
  4. Tone and Style
    • Use a polite, professional and neutral tone.

Formatting Requirements

  1. Written Format
    • Submit content as a Word document (.docx) or use the online submission form to upload custom-designed content. This will be reviewed by University Marketing.
    • Ensure text is clear, legible and free of spelling, grammatical and factual errors.
  2. Audio Format
    • If providing audio, ensure it is in a high-quality audio format (e.g., MP3).
    • Include a written transcript of the audio for approval purposes.
  3. Visual Aids
    • If using visual aids (e.g., slides, videos), ensure they are in high resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels).
    • Submit visual materials in commonly used formats (e.g., JPG for photos, PNG for graphics, MP4 for videos).

Approval Process

  1. Initial Review
    • Content will undergo an initial review for relevance, clarity and adherence to guidelines.
    • Be prepared to make revisions if necessary.
  2. Final Approval
    • Approved content will be scheduled for broadcast.
    • Submitters will be notified of the approval status and the scheduled broadcast times.
  3. Emergency Content

Content Restrictions
